Frequently Asked Questions:
Ensembles

  • All of Enchanted Strings’ contracted musicians are classically trained and are some of the industry’s finest event professionals. Many of them have performed with famous artists and composers in premier entertainment venues around the globe, including Dolby Theatre, Greek Theatre, Walt Disney Concert Hall, Tchaikovsky Concert Hall, Konzerthaus Berlin and Carnegie Hall.

Our top musicians offer their cultured backgrounds, extensive experience, and performance skills towards hundreds of weddings and special events throughout Southern California. We have in-house music arrangers, string leaders, and coordinators that take pride in providing concierge-level service to clients seeking personalized attention, quality, and reliability.

  • No, all of our musicians perform with acoustic instruments only. Amplification may be added for enhanced sound, depending on the space and the guest count.

  • Yes! Our standard package includes unlimited music planning with a dedicated coordinator and up to 2 special song requests. Any song that is not included in our repertoire is considering a special song request.

Custom song arrangements are not included in our packages and are subject to additional fees.

  • A custom arrangement is any song or piece that needs to be arranged because the sheet music isn’t readily available to us through our standard resources. For example, sheet music might be available for String Quartet only, but not for your specific ensemble, which might be Harp Trio or Violin & Cello Duo, etc.

In this case, we would have our in-house arranger create the sheet music that’s suitable for your specific ensemble (with an additional fee). The custom arrangement fee is based on a number of factors, including the complexity of the song or piece, and the length.

  • Our String Quartet has the most sheet music available to perform pop covers featured in Netflix’s Bridgerton series.

  • For amplification, we require the availability of a working power supply in close proximity to the performance area. For outdoor events, FULL overhead shade is required (umbrella, tent, gazebo, etc.). In fall and winter months with temperatures below 70°, a portable heater is required and greatly appreciated.

In addition, every musician should be provided with armless chairs and adequate and comfortable space of at least 4 feet x 4 feet. For harp instrument, all performance areas must have ramp access and grounds must be dry, level and flat. The harp must remain stationary during the entire booking and access to a nearby loading/unloading dock will be necessary.

  • We are available throughout Southern California, including Greater Los Angeles, San Fernando Valley, Ventura County, Santa Barbara, Santa Ynez Valley, and Orange County. Additional travel fees may apply.

Popular wedding destinations we service include Agoura Hills, Camarillo, Laguna Beach, Malibu, Moorpark, Montecito, Ojai, Palm Springs, Rancho Palos Verdes and Simi Valley.

Certain locations and non-LA County venues may require a 2 hour minimum.

  • We strongly prefer to work with our own network of musicians and singers that we have already built a strong repertoire with. Professional experience and familiarity between musical artists is very important, as it ensures a smooth and high-quality performance for all involved.

With that being said, we do reserve the right to decline collaborations and cooperation with unaffiliated groups and individuals.
